Description: A long handled copper spoon with a bent hook at the end of the handle for hanging. The handle is soldered to the bowl of the spoon in two places.

Canadian coppersmiths and brass founders did not begin to supply various types of areas for home consumption until the mid 1800s. The earliest known Canadian copper and brass wares were believed to be produced in Quebec sometime in the 1600s.
