Description: Ladder-back side chair with three back slats. The back posts and front legs are dowel turned. The top of the back posts end in a double rung turning. The legs are connected with box stretchers with two stretchers on three sides and one at the back. The chair is painted black with a sponge-effect or as if it was brushed over with a greenish yellow or gold base. There are gold bands around the front legs and back posts, stretchers, and back slats. The woven splint seat is probably original. There are traces of red paint on the seat.
