Description: A colour photograph of the Satellite Family Restaurant located at 1969 Lakeshore Road West in Clarkson. The building is round with a low conical roof and large ground to ceiling windows. This is an exterior shot. The building is painted pink and gray. There is a small patio area to one side, blocked off by a black metal fence.

Building is located on 1969 Lakeshore Road West. Conc 2 SDS, pt. Lot 30. Built ca 1953 this is an unique example of the 1950s style of diner, and is the only one of its kind in Mississauga. When first built it was a popular drive-in and was originally called "The Mexican Hat". The name was later changed because the public kept referring to the restaurant as a spaceship. Building is heritage listed but it is not designated.
