Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)
Residential Contest
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)
Q. Why canít I include artificial plant materials in my garden?

Simply because Streetscape is a garden contest and artificial plants just donít belong. Itís your gardening skills we want to see.

An automatic points penalty will be imposed on any garden using artificial plant materials in any area of the garden, including garden beds, pots, planters, hanging baskets, window boxes, ponds, driveways etc.

So if you love your fake, potted evergreens, but still want to enter the contest, just put them away for the season. Artificial door wreaths are acceptable, as are accessories not ďpretendingĒ to be plants, such as metal flower sculptures, painted flowers on plaques etc.
