Mississauga Cultural
Resource Map
The City of Mississauga is proud to launch the Mississauga Culture on the Map portal, a
comprehensive source for all things arts and cultural resources in Mississauga. The
portal was launched on 1 May 2012, with attendance from key Mississauga cultural stakeholders,
community groups, other municipalities and culture consultants (see the Project Launch
Presentation).
As a city, we have so many cultural resources, assets and cultural activities.
However, finding all this information is usually a challenge, until now. With
relevant data and feedback from City Divisions and our external culture partners, the Culture
Division implemented a recommendation of the 5-year Culture Master Plan approved by Council in
June 2009 to develop a single one-stop-shop cultural resource map for the city.
Cultural resources, assets and related information will now be easier to find in Mississauga
more than ever before, thanks to our various internal and external culture stakeholders who
have made this project a success story. For the full list of project stakeholders, partners and
data providers, please click here.
