A TEDDY BEAR TOUR OF BENARES
Designed for JK through Grade 2, this fun tour takes a look at historic Benares through the eyes of two of the children who lived there - with some teddy bears old and new! Includes playing with reproduction toys.

Grades: JK - 2; Cost: $4.25/student; Duration: 1-1.5 hours; Offered year-round, excluding Christmas season (mid November to year-end)

A RAG DOLL TOUR OF BRADLEY HOUSE
A Bradley House tour for the younger student. This program incorporates several rag dolls in a fun and interactive tour of the old farm house. Find out about the Bradley children and how they lived in the 1830's.

Grades: JK - 2; Cost: $4.25/student; Duration: 1-1.5 hours; Offered year-round, excluding Christmas season (mid November to year-end)

MEET THE HARRISES!
This program introduces the Harris family of Benares to the Grade One level student. Present-day students are encouraged to explore the past through the eyes of the children who lived at Benares during the First World War. Students will leave with a strong knowledge of an early Ontario family, their daily life and their connections to the community. (Ties in with the Social Studies unit, Heritage & Citizenship, Relationships, Rules & Responsibilities)

MEET THE BRADLEYS
The structure and goals of this program are similar to "Meet the Harrises", however it introduces the students to the early settler time period. The family farmhouse serves as the setting for students to begin their exploration into the past. Through an interactive tour of the house, students learn about the Bradley family's daily life and the local community. (Ties in with the Social Studies unit, Heritage & Citizenship, Relationships, Rules & Responsibilities)

THE HARRISES OF CLARKSON VILLAGE
Come and visit the Harrises! The year is 1918 but the family has lived in the village for over 60 years. Find out about the family, the community, their traditions and celebrations throughout the changing seasons. (Ties in with Social Studies Unit, Heritage & Citizenship, Traditions and Celebrations.)

Grade:1; Cost: $4.25/student; Duration: 1-1.5 hours; Offered year-round, excluding Christmas season (mid November to year-end)

A JOURNEY TO MERIGOLD'S POINT
Settlement at Merigold's Point began in the early part of the 19th century. The Bradley family were one of the original inhabitants of the point. Students will be introduced to the daily family life in a brand new developing community in the New World. N.B. This program changes with the seasons of the year. (Ties in with Social Studies Unit, Heritage & Citizenship, Traditions and Celebrations.)

HANDS-ON THE PAST 1
Become a museologist! Through an engaging interactive discovery tour of Benares Historic House and hands-on exploration of everyday artifacts, daily life in 1918 comes to life. (Ties in with Social Studies Unit, Heritage & Citizenship, Traditions and Celebrations.)

Grade:2; Cost: $4.25/student; Duration: 1-1.5 hours; Offered year-round, excluding Christmas season (mid November to year-end)

SIMPLE MACHINES
This hands-on program focusses on simple machines -- such as levers, pulleys, gears, inclined planes and screws -- that were part of everyday life in the 19th & 20th centuries. Students will soon discover that simple machines are part of their own everyday lives. (Ties in with Science & Technology unit, Structures & Mechanisms)

Grades 2 to 5; Cost: $4.25/student; Duration:1.5 hours; Offered year-round at Bradley Museum and is also available as an outreach program.
