Description: A beaten copper hemi-spherical ladle with an s-shaped handle. There is a 5 mm hole (off-centre) at the end of the handle for hanging.

Canadian coppersmiths and brass founders did not begin to supply various types of areas for home consumption until the mid 1800s. The earliest known Canadian copper and brass wares were believed to be produced in Quebec sometime in the 1600s.
