Description: Metal knife with wooden handles. The handle is rounded and slit where the blade is inserted. The blade curved with a small piece bent over on the very end. The blade curves in towards the centre.

The hoof knife is a tool used when removing the 'sole' and the 'frog' of the hoof. A hoof knife is part of a set of tools that is used to 'shoe' horse, which is to remove and replace a horseshoe.
