Description: A colour photograph of Mayor Hazel McCallion giving a speech during the Soccer Field Day event in 1990. Mayor McCallion is wearing a green bomber jacket over a blouse and red skirt. Sitting behind her is an unidentified woman from the Erin Mills Soccer Club.

Taken at an unknown location during Soccer Field Day in 1990. The Erin Mills Soccer Club is a non for profit organization dedicated to teaching and developing the game of soccer to people of all ages. It was established in the early 1980s and had players from ages 5 to 16; it later housed leagues for adult players. At one time it was one of the few soccer clubs that offered house league play. Outdoor games were played at various fields while indoor games were played at Homelands Public School and the Erindale campus at the University of Toronto. The club is still in existence today and is affiliated with the City of Mississauga Recreation and Parks. In 1994 it was the largest soccer group of its kind in Mississauga.
