Description: Slightly yellowed black and white photo of a team of young boys posing for the camera. They are all wearing baseball uniforms on the front of which is the team name "Mitchell Refrigeration." They are all holding trophies. There is a large trophy in the bottom centre of the group. At the back there is a group of adults who could possibly be the teamís coaches.

Organized baseball teams were formed in the villages of Cooksville, Port Credit and Streetsville during the early 1900s; many local newspapers reported the many games that were played on the local agricultural fair grounds. During the 1960s a couple of local minor baseballs associations were formed including The Erindale Lions Little League Baseball Association in 1965 and The Forest Glen Baseball Association in 1968. After the City of Mississauga was formed in 1974 the Mississauga Baseball Association (est. 1975) was created to integrate the various minor baseball associations throughout the City of Mississauga.

Mitchell Refrigeration Ltd is still listed as an active business located in Mississauga today (2011).
