Description: Slightly yellowed black and white photograph showing the exterior of building in which “Gymnastics Mississauga” was located in. The sign outside the building indicates "Gymnastics Mississauga Home of Mississauga Gym Club".

This is a picture of the space used by Gymnastics Mississauga that was located at 3636 Erindale Station Road. The club was founded in 1969 by Susan Harris and Karen Pipes who taught gymnastics to over 20 students; classes were first held at gyms located inside various highschools in Mississauga. Ms. Harris started out has a teacher at Lorne Park Secondary School in 1969 and was involved with the school gymnastics team. She turned the Lorne Park Gymnastics team into the Gymnastics Mississauga Club.

In 2007 the Mississauga Gymnastics Club relocated to the new Hershey Sports Zone located beside the Hershey Centre. In 2009 it celebrated its 40th anniversary.
