Description: White Indian cotton, gauze-like. Decorative collar, cuffs, detachable belt and hem are floral motif embroidery with a square raised and cut out pattern embroidered edging. Fabric is very fine with a heavy vertical thread running every 3 cm. Bodice and skirt gathered at a waist band. Basting stitches.

Item belonged to Miss Sally Klein, 932 First Street, Mississauga. Miss Klein was around 90 years old in 1986 and was born in Mississauga. She wore the dress when she was around 12-13 years old.
