Description: Colour photograph of a baseball field with people playing either baseball or softball. The players are wearing navy blue pants.

Organized baseball teams were formed in the villages of Cooksville, Port Credit and Streetsville during the early 1900s; local newspapers reported the many games that were played on the agricultural fair grounds. During the 1960s a couple of minor baseball associations were formed, including The Erindale Lions Little League Baseball Association in 1965 and The Forest Glen Baseball Association in 1968. After the City of Mississauga was formed in 1974, the Mississauga Baseball Association(est. 1975) was created to integrate the various minor baseball associations throughout the City.
