The Canadian Urban Transit Association (CUTA) is a community involved with activities and issues related to urban transit. The association is involved year round in activities such as conferences, training, research and awards. The CUTA was first founded in Montreal in December of 1904 as the Canadian Street Railway Association and had several names before adopting its current name in 1973.
