Description: A black and white glossy photograph with a white border and an onion skin on top. Photograph of 7 men skating on the ice, one sitting inside a sled while being pulled by another. The group look to be skating on the rink located at Huron Park Recreation Centre.
The winter carnival began in the Township of Toronto (today the City of Mississauga) in the early 1960s and was a partnership between staff and students of Peel High schools and the Recreation and Parks Department. The carnival was usually held at Huron Park Recreation Centre during normal school hours.
