The three teenagers are all barefoot and are resting their feet on top of an unknown wooden object. Kneeling beside the group is Bob Sones. He is wearing glasses and holding a newspaper.

Bon Sones worked with Bill Hare and Jerry Love in the Toronto Townships Recreation and Parks Department in organizing and supervising sports and recreation in the Townships 11 districts. Sones' job was assistant director in charge of all the districts area recreation committees.

Both Olga Tyne and Jerry Love were involved with the Toronto Township Recreation and Parks. The Toronto Township Recreation Department formed in 1947 and offered organized sports and recreation to residents. Jerry Love was hired in 1959 to organize sport clinics for youth in summer playgrounds across the township.

William (Bill) Hare was also a director for the Toronto Township Recreation and Parks Department in the mid 1950s.
