|Description: A small rectangular sheet of note paper with black ink handwriting. The notes refer to a journal that relates to or belonged to Stephen Jarvis. It references different pages and mentions different family members by name or occupation. |
According to the research note, Munson and William Jarvis were cousins. But other papers and family trees found with the collection of family papers indicate that they were brothers. Munson left either Connecticut or Long Island for New Brunswick around 1782-1783. William, Munson's youngest brother, left for England around the same time, later coming to Upper Canada and serving as Provincial Secretary under General Simcoe.
