The City of Mississauga is continuing to work with the Region of Peel Health Services (Peel
Public Health) and the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care regarding the H1N1 flu and
seasonal flu virus.
At this time, the City of Mississauga is conducting business as usual.
The Flu Assessment Centre that was opened at the Frank McKechnie Community Centre and
Library is now closed.
Please contact the facility directly at 905-615-4660 for more information on programs, facility
rentals and building operations.
Peel Public Health H1N1 Vaccine Clinics - Open
to Everyone
Peel Public Health anticipates vaccination clinic lines will be long. They
are urging residents to:
- Check the wait time at each location (updated hourly)
and
- Pick a location with a short wait time
If you are pregnant or have a child six months to one year of age, call Peel Public Health
at 905-799-7700 if your doctor is not providing H1N1 flu shots.
