Mississauga.ca - MiWay - PRESTO Concession

Eligible for a reduced-rate concession fare? Set up your PRESTO card to pay Child, Student or Senior fares

Once you register your card with PRESTO, you can then set it up to pay Child, Student or Senior fares.

Customer Service Locations include the City Centre Transit Terminal, the Square One GO Bus Terminal (240 Centre View Drive) and all GO Train Stations.

PRESTO fares are as follows:

Concession	PRESTO e-Purse (cost per trip)
Child (Age 6-12 inclusive)	$1.65
Student (Age 13-19 and full-time post-secondary)	$2.25
Adult	$2.70
Senior (65 years of age or older)	$1.80

PRESTO concession fare eligibility is based on age not school grade

Note: Child and Student Concessions expire and need to be reset at a Customer Service Location.

Concession	Expiry
Child (Age 6-12 inclusive)	Expires on 13th birthday
Student (Age 13-19 inclusive)	Expires on 20th birthday
Full-Time Post-Secondary Student	Expires each year (valid from September - September)

Additional Information:

Concession fares can only be set on registered cards.
Concessions need to be set in person at a Customer Service Location. Customers are required to bring proof of age, photo ID and enrolment (student card).
Customers are encouraged to check their transactions periodically to ensure the correct concession fare is being deducted (i.e. Balance Checker, Fare Payment Device, PRESTO website, PRESTO Call Centre or at a Customer Service Location).
Only MiWay and GO Transit offer Post-Secondary PRESTO concession fare.

Please note: Students must be prepared to show proof of student status/enrolment when they board the bus.
