MiWay is launching two new routes to provide weekday rush hour service
between Mississauga’s Airport Corporate Centre and the Skymark Hub.
Beginning on March 25, 2013, service on Routes 17-Timberlea and
50-Creekbank will be cancelled and replaced by Routes 72-Timberlea and
73-Kamato. Route 72 will provide service between Timberlea Boulevard and the Skymark
Hub, and Route 73 will provide service between Kamato Road and the Skymark Hub. Both routes
will service stops every 20 minutes.

For customers travelling between Islington Subway Station and the Skymark Hub, rush hour
service on Route 109-Meadowvale Express has been increased to provide 17
minute service frequency in both directions.
Customers can now choose either Route 35-Eglinton or 109-Meadowvale Express when travelling
between Islington Subway Station and the Skymark Hub. Routes 35 and 109 will both get
you there – so take the first bus that arrives!
This is the third phase in a series of route changes taking place to/from the
Skymark Hub. By redesigning these local services into more efficient local feeder routes, these
changes help align MiWay services in preparation for the launch of the transitway this
fall.
The Skymark Hub is located on Skymark Avenue, between Commerce Boulevard
and Explorer Drive, near the future Renforth Gateway Station.
The construction of Mississauga’s Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project is
underway, and the Skymark Hub helps enable safe and efficient transfer connections
between several MiWay routes, improving service reliability and helping buses avoid traffic
delays in neighbouring areas.
Beginning fall 2013: MiWay buses will travel on Mississauga’s new
transitway
Phase 1 of Mississauga’s new transitway will include four new stations from the City Centre
Transit Terminal to Dixie Station. MiWay buses will provide service on the transitway beginning
this fall.
