Zoning Letters


Zoning letters are a paid service provided by the Zoning section/administrator of the Planning & Building Department to provide comment in writing on the zoning status of a property.

In order to obtain a Zoning letter, you must make a written request addressed to the Zoning Administrator in accordance with one of the following:

All Zoning letters will be mailed unless the request states that you wish to pick up the letter in person at the Building Division Customer Services Counter, 3rd floor, Civic Centre, 300 City Centre Drive.

Information regarding open permits or open violations is not considered zoning information and must be requested through Development Services as a compliance report (see link below)
