Description: 337 Queen Street South. Plan STR, 3, pt. Lot 4. This was a one-and-a-half storey structure with a stucco finish. The building had gable ends with cornice returns. There was a single gable with a round arched window on the front façade. The house was built ca 1850 by an Englishman, Nicholas Vivian Kent, a carpenter. Kent married Elizabeth Brookbank. His tombstone in Streetsville Cemetery reads: Nicholas Kent, b. 1822, d. 1911, Native of Cornwall, England. Formerly listed on the Heritage Register, the house was demolished in 2003.
