Description: 6080 McLaughlin Road. Conc 2 WHS, pt. Lot 8 E 1/2. These were double Two Bay barns, with horizontal plank siding and with metal sheeting on the gable roofs. The larger barn on the east-west axis had the unusual feature of having its drive doors on the same side. The Two Bay barn, like the Central Ontario barn, was designed to be a general purpose structure, but a much smaller building. It provided limited stable facilities, some storage space for crops and tools and a small working space. Its most notable feature is the absence of a foundation storey. The house on this property had been listed on the Heritage Register but was demolished in 1991. The barns were demolished in November 1990. Description as of April 2011.
