Description: 16 Scarboro Street. Pt. Lot 11 Conc 6 EHS. This is a one and a half storey brick house built in 1884 for Joseph Tomlinson, son of David Tomlinson, members of one of the earliest families in Malton. The house in late Gothic Revival style features dichromatic brickwork, a variety of windows and bargeboard. It is designated under the terms of the Ontario Heritage Act. This photo shows the gables and vergeboard on the east fašade.
