Description: Colonel T. L. Kennedy and his regiment at the Cooksville Fair Grounds, 1914, demonstrating wrestling on horseback. According to William Perkins Bull, in his book, From Brock to Currie, T. L. Kennedy annually recruited a squadron of the The Governor General's Body Guard (later the Governor General's Horse Guards) in Peel. Apparently, during the First World War Kennedy set up a camp for unemployed men on the Fair Grounds at Cooksville, who were known as "Kennedy's Recruits".
