Description: The Murray house was bought by R. S. Whaley, the blacksmith whose shop stood on the site of Bowden’s Hall, later the Cooksville Fire Department. The blacksmith shop was later turned over to Frank Walterhouse, a descendant of Isaac Walterhouse, one of Cooksville's original blacksmiths.
