Description: United Empire Loyalist John Barnhart founded and built this trading post/store, dubbing it “Montreal House.” Nephew Solomon Barnhart printed the Streetsville Review from the second floor, commencing in 1857. The Barnharts sold the structure in 1866, but it has continued to be used for commercial purposes ever since.
