Description: One of the first doctors licensed in Peel and the first Warden of the County. He began his practice in Peel in 1832, at the time of the cholera epidemic, having taken his medical training at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, New York. He practised in Streetsville for 35 years, and was also Reeve of Streetsville for many years . He moved to Owen Sound in 1869 where he died in 1901.
