Description: Asparagus was one of the crops that was grown on the Fletcher farm. The following is from Clarkson and its many corners, by Kathleen Hicks: "William Morley Fletcher and his wife, Annie, moved to Clarkson in 1911 from Toronto. In 1914 they purchased 20 acres on Lot 30, Conc 3, east of what is now Southdown road. They had three children, Kathleen, Dorothy and George. Their crops were mainly vegetables and much of what they grew was sold in Toronto."
