Description: Formerly located at 893 Sangster Avenue, lots 2 & 4, BLK 14 Plan 888. The Cottage, a two storey gable roofed timber frame dwelling, was built in Queen Anne style by Fred Kelk, sometime between 1904 and 1920. It was one of the few remaining summer residences in Lorne Park Estates and one of the last reminders of that tradition, not only within Lorne Park but also within the City of Mississauga. Formerly listed on the Heritage Register it was demolished in 1999. This undated photo is of a second storey window, and shows the fish scale design on the second storey, as well as the unique design of the window with its lozenge-like panes.
