Description: 7 John Street South. Pt. Lot 3, R.P. 300W, Lot 4. Built ca 1867 by the Peer family who lived for many years in the Port Credit and Clarkson area. Members of the family were sailors and stonehookers in the 19th century. As of 2008 the house was used for commercial purposes. Designated under the terms of the Ontario Heritage Act and now part of the Old Port Credit Village Heritage District This 1985 photos shows the north fašade of the Peer House. Note the apartment building behind it.
