Description: Meadowvale Village's first postmaster, Luther Cheyne, erected this house. From 1922 to 1944 Yates and Beardmore operated it as a tearoom. For its first two summers, the business catered to Ontario College of Art students, who travelled to the area to sketch the scenery.
