Description: 39 John Street. Plan 300 W, pt. Lot 3 & 4. This is a two storey frame structure with an L-shape plan. The lot was originally owned by Albert E. Block, carpenter, from his father, Abram, in 1912. The house does not appear on the 1910 fire insurance plan and may been built in 1912. It is designated under the terms of the Ontario Heritage Act and located within the Old Port Credit Village Heritage Conservation District.
