Description: 57 Bay Street. Plan 300W pt. Lot 10. This two storey structure has an unusually shallow pitched hip roof. The three bay fašade is covered by an open porch. The house is finished in a horizontal siding. The frame house stands on one of the original one-quarter acre lots in the village. It appears on the 1910 fire insurance plan, but has evolved since that time. It may have been built for Thomas Blowers, Sr., a sailor, and his wife. Bella. It is designated under the terms of the Ontario Heritage Act and is part of the Old Port Credit Heritage Conservation District.
