Description: 35 Front Street North. Plan 300W, pt. Howards Strip. Built in 1966 in Fifties Contempo style, designed by Dennis Bowman. The Royal Canadian Legion, Col. Thomson Branch 81, Port Credit, first met in members' homes beginning in November 1926, at which time application for a Charter was made to Legion Headquarters. Their next meeting spot was the basement of the Oddfellows Hall on Stavebank Road, following which the Branch moved to the Presbyterian Church on Elizabeth Street. Heritage listed.
