Description: A steam engine owned and operated by E.D. (Ephraim) Evans of Streetsville. It was used in the area for thrashing, running saws and other projects requiring steam power, including the relocation of the Credit Valley Railway Station from north of Britannia Road to 78 William Street. When not in use, the engine was kept at Evans' house on William Street. Among the men who worked with Evans was fireman Tommy Thistle. Shown in the photograph are F. Noble and E.D. Evans.
