Description: The Robert and W. J. Graydon Regent Store, at the north-west corner of Queen and Pearl Streets. The Robert Graydon house was next door to the store. The store and house were both destroyed by fire on June 29, 1909. Both Robert¿s son and his son-in-law died in the fire and his wife, Sarah died nine days later. Robert Graydon purchased the house at 25 Thomas Street from A.W. Cameron, which was later occupied by his daughter, Ena May Clipperton. The photo is from a slide presentation made by Graydon Clipperton to the Streetsville Historical Society at the Streetsville Public Library in 1972 and donated to the library in 1973.
