Description: 27 Pearl Street. Plan STR 1 pt. Lot 15. This is a one-and-a-half storey white aluminium siding structure featuring a gable roof with asphalt shingles and an asymmetrical north two bay fašade. The house was designed by Robert Alexander and built by John Graydon ca 1880. Alexander was the first tenant, until his death in 1894. Nellie Hicks rented it next and took ownership in 1912 and the house was in the Hicks family for six decades. Nellie's father, W. T. Hicks, was a Methodist minister. The building was used until 2008 for commercial purposes. It is listed on the Heritage Register.
