Description: 214 Queen Street. Plan STR 1, pt. Lot 22. This is a two storey red brick commercial structure with a flat roof and a fašade that has undergone restoration. Robert Greig (1867-1934) worked for John Simpson Hardware before starting his own business here. Greig was a Councillor for seventeen years and a Reeve for three. He operated the hardware store for many years and it also served as a drugstore. The building also served as a meeting place for the Masonic Lodge # 356, River Park Lodge, from 1909 till 1920, as the masons rented a large room on the second floor. The buildings is listed on the Heritage Register.
