Description: 13 Thomas Street. Conc 5 WHS, pt. Lot 3 Eż. Built in Colonial Regency style in 1847 for Thomas Paterson, after whom Thomas Street is named. The house was built on land owned by Thomas's father, James Paterson. Thomas Paterson was a member of the first Village Council in 1858. After his death in 1860 the property belonged to his brother-in-law, Hugh Savigny, a surveyor. The architecture is Colonial Regency. Designated under the terms of the Ontario Heritage Act.
