Description: 117 Queen Street N. Conc 4 WHS, pt. Lot 7. Built about 1840. The original owner was Christopher Rowe who owned the Alpha Grist Mills on the Credit River. His father, John Rowe, served with Hessian troops during the American Revolution. Christopher Rowe came from the United States. Mary Manning reports in her Inventory that he was Episcopal Methodist and at one time there was a Methodist Chapel on his property. After the Rowe family left, Robert Ramsay owned the property for many years. Formerly listed on the Heritage Register the house was demolished in 1986.
