Description: 11 Barry Avenue. Plan STR 4pt Lots 1, 2, 7, 8 BLK 3. Built about 1860 probably by Matthew Cunningham, a tinsmith, it is a distinctive combination of Regency form with its one-and-a-half storey height, hipped roof and tall, decorative chimneys and Georgian Survival details. See also the William Cunningham House at 19 Barry Avenue. This property was known as both the Brocklebank House, as it was bought by J. A. H. Brocklebank in 1951, and the Matthew Cunningham House. It is designated under the terms of the Ontario Heritage Act. This is a 1967 photo of the house.
