Description: 5650 Hurontario Street. Conc 1 WHS pt. Lot 4. The HJA Brown Education Centre is the headquarters of the Peel District Board of Education. It is located at the corner of Hurontario Street and Matheson Boulevard and was completed in 1984 for a total of $15 million. The building, which was designed by Shore, Tilbe, Irwin and Partners (who also designed the Mississauga Central Library) won the Design Excellence Award from the Ontario Association of Architects in 1989.
