Description: This is a close look at dovetail joint construction such as one might see in log cabin construction. The joints are made using dressed logs which have the advantage of making the joint tighter as the logs shrink. The space between the logs is filled in with daub or mud or some type of caulking to fill in the gaps. This is known as chinking.
