Description: A 22-square-metre yacht named "Isabella" sails in the pond at Saddington Park. The model was built by Ryan Hunwicks in his garage workshop at 36 Lake Street, a home once owned by his grandparents Clare and Laura Johnson. In the 1930s and 40s, Clare Johnson competed from a rowboat to race model yachts in regattas at the Canadian National Exhibition. Isabella took 750 hours to complete. The yacht's rudder and sails are controlled by remote control. |
