Description: Harry Edwin Burton and Helena Carlotte Trimble Burton pose for their wedding portrait. They were married in Chinguacousy Township in the County of Peel on April 19, 1899. Parents of the groom were Joseph Burton and Marion Fogarty. Parents of the bride were Joseph Henry Trimble and Leni Leotti Copeland. Harry and Helena raised their family on the Burton farm in the north west part of Toronto Township. Situated on Lot 12, Concession 4 W.H.S., the property had been settled in 1852 by Samuel Burton, Harry's grandfather. Their daughter, Sylvia Jean, married Wilbert Leslie, son of a neighbouring family. Photographed by A. G. Hamilton, Brampton.
