Description: 23 Forest Avenue. This was a one-and-a-half storey house, built in Prairie bungalow style with an addition. It was constructed of one-third stone and two-thirds stucco, with a hipped roof and dormers, and asphalt shingles. There were six-pane casement windows with thin muntins in the windows. The foundation was of stone and there was a stone fence and an attached garage. The house was demolished about 1974 in order to build the new Forest Avenue Public School.
