Description: The Toronto Township Hockey League would arrange to take junior players to Maple Leaf Gardens on a Saturday, where they would meet members of NHL teams. This photo is of Garry Unger, while he was a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs, with two players from the Lorne Park team. Unger was born in Calgary, played with the London Nationals and Rochester Americans among other teams, before being acquired by the Leafs. He was traded to Detroit in 1968 and went to St. Louis in 1971. He also played with the Atlanta Flames and the Edmonton Oilers. Original photo at Museums of Mississauga. Description as of March 2013.
