Description: Toronto Township Hockey League players would visit Maple Leaf Gardens on a Saturday and meet members of the NHL. George Armstrong, nicknamed "Chief", was born near Sudbury of Irish-Ojibway heritage. He played with the Marlboros and the Toronto Maple Leafs and was Leaf team captain. After retirement he coached the Marlies and is presently a scout for the Leafs. Jim Darling was the son of Jack Darling, President of the Mississauga Hockey League, after whom Jack Darling Park was named. Original photo at Museums of Mississauga. Description as of March 2013.
