Description: 7557 Ninth Line. Conc 10 NDS pt. Lot 14. This one-and-a-half storey structure had essentially two main parts which were attached by a simple storey section. The structure to the rear of this link was originally an arched drive shed but was used primarily for storage. Both parts had medium pitched gabled roofs with returns at the ends of the eaves. The cornice on the main section had a row of dentils along its length. There were four internally bracketed brick chimneys, one at either side of the main section and another in the connecting link and still another at the south right side of the rear drive shed. There was a partial basement. A coursed stone foundation supported red brick walls which were purportedly four stretcher widths thick. Yellow brick was used around the arches of the rear drive shed. Along the front fašade there were four, six-over-six paned double hung squared sash windows, two on either side of the door. Originally, the door was flanked by sidelights and surmounted by a transom which were all glazed. Inside, all of the woodwork was in its natural, unpainted state, Birds-eye maple and oak predominated. The house, which had been listed on the Heritage Register, was demolished in 1998. Description as of December 2010.
